Norfolk Industries specialises in plastic coated items made from wire. We have an 'in-house' coating plant which enables us to coat in several different colours including white, Dimplex 'willow white', green, red and black polyethylene. Nylon coating is available in black and white and 'Talisman' polymer alloy coating is available only in white.

Our plastic coating plant consists of a two square metre oven. Items are heated to temperatures varying from 250°C to 400+°C, depending upon the thickness of the material.

The heated item is then dipped into the plastic powder. This powder in turn has air passed through to make it behave like a fluid, which assists greatly in the dipping process.

The dipped item is left to cool for around ten minutes before it can be safely handled.
Should a customer require raw items to be plastic coated, we would ask that any previous coatings be completely removed and the surfaces free of rust and loose particles.

Our tanks vary in size from 2030mm long x 1040mm wide (white and Dimplex 'willow white') to 720mm long x 520mm wide (white/black nylon).
Polyethylene colours available: White, Light Beige(willow white), Dark Green, Mid Red, Black.
Nylon colours are black and white, Talisman coating is only available in white.
